Kim Rolfe, owner, and Brett Baum, hunt manager, have a long history of working together and have dedicated their lives to the art of hunting. Their shared love for hunting has led them to create two exceptional hunting businesses. (Rolfe Guides & Outfitters & Round Valley Outfitters) that cater to outdoor enthusiasts looking for unforgettable experiences. Get to know Kim & Brett, as you read their story below.
Kim's Story
I went with my dad on my very first deer hunt when I was 5 yrs old, and from that moment I was hooked on hunting deer, elk and waterfowl throughout my life.
I started guiding and outfitting 30 yrs ago. I have been fortunate enough to lease very high quality properties for big game and now I am a partner in a very large property with quality deer and elk. My family also owns a large wetland ecosystem with excellent wildlife habitat.
I learned a lot about guiding from my good friend Kim Bonnett, the founder of "Bucks and Bulls Guides & Outfitters".
Because we only hunt quality mule deer and elk at very low numbers, I like to use the phrase that Kim taught me.

My first hunt was on a cool October day in 1960. I rode on my Dad’s shoulders most of the day. That was the start of a Tradition and career.
Through the years I have never missed a season. Hunting has become a passion that drives me year round.
I started guiding in the 1980s and became an Outfitter in the 1990s.
I’ve hunted from Alaska to Texas, and met a lot of great people along the way.
The hunting industry has provided a direction for my life.
I am closer to my creator up on the mountain than anywhere else.
My goal is to share the passion and reverence I feel with the people I hunt with.
